An Evening With Joe Biden
I scanned my options for the fourth time. Should I wear a suit? A dress? Or perhaps boots because it was finally cold in south Florida? I am a typically a decisive woman, and my deliberation about something so insignificant was ridiculous.
Why Do the Littlest Things Hurt the Most?
My children inspire me. As I often say, they are the most intuitive, impactful teachers in my life. What truly blows my mind? They do not even realize it. But I sure do, and I listen with my whole heart and soul when they speak.

The One That Got Away
Last week I wrote about our winter family vacation, “The Slippery Slope.” Here is part two! We entered the through the laundry room door. All of us were exhausted and felt mixed emotions about our trip ending. As we dragged heavy, overstuffed duffles across the shiny tile, I noticed a chocolate brown object on the floor.

The smooth ride to Albany, New York kicked off our annual family trip. We rented a car and drove four hours to Stowe, Vermont. I figured the carefree, seamless start to our vacation must be an auspicious beginning.
